Complete Job Details

Janakpuri Super Speciality Hospital Society (JSSH), an autonomous institute under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued Recruitment Notice No. F.1(828)/JSSH/Estt./SR(AD-HOC)/2022/Vol.II/558 for Walk-in Assessment to fill 42 Senior Resident posts on ad-hoc basis. This is not a routine โ€œapply and waitโ€ recruitment. The hospital has fixed the interview schedule, document verification window, fee process and basic eligibility conditions in the official notice itself, so candidates should read the instructions carefully and report with complete documents on the scheduled date instead of assuming that a separate admit card or online application portal will be released later. The vacancies are spread across multiple specialties including Anaesthesia, Biochemistry, Cardiology, CTVS, Gastroenterology, GI Surgery, Microbiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Pathology, Radiology and Urology. The category-wise breakup given in the notice totals 42 posts, with reservation for UR, OBC, SC, ST and EWS categories, and horizontal reservation for PwD candidates as per applicable rules. JSSH has also clarified that if a suitable reserved category candidate is not available in a particular specialty, an otherwise eligible meritorious candidate may be considered for short-term engagement for not more than 44 days, subject to the conditions mentioned in the recruitment notice. This recruitment is particularly important for medical candidates who are looking for immediate hospital-based experience in Delhi in a super-specialty environment. The appointment is initially for 89 days and may be extended in blocks of 89 days depending on requirement, but it cannot continue beyond the ceiling prescribed under the Senior Residency scheme. The hospital has clearly stated that the post is whole-time and private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited. Candidates already working in government service or other institutions should bring a valid No Objection Certificate and, where applicable, work and conduct certificate as well as vigilance clearance from the previous employer. The notice accepts three broad qualification routes. Candidates with DM/MCh/DrNB/MD/MS in the concerned specialty are eligible. Candidates with MD/MS in a basic specialty along with 3 yearsโ€™ experience, out of which 1 year is preferably in the concerned super-specialty, may also apply. MBBS candidates with 3 yearsโ€™ experience, out of which 2 years should be in the concerned specialty, are also eligible where applicable under the notice. A valid DMC registration certificate is compulsory. Age is counted on the day of walk-in assessment, and relaxation for reserved categories is available as per government rules. The official notification also specifies the application fee structure and mode of payment: candidates must pay through POS machine using debit or credit card at the hospital accounts branch; cash, separate challan assumptions, or incomplete forms are likely to create problems at reporting. For candidates planning to attend, the safest approach is to print and fill the prescribed form, keep passport-size photographs ready, arrange all original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies, and reach the venue well within the document verification window. Because this is a walk-in assessment, late reporting or incomplete paperwork can directly affect candidature. The selection will be based on interview/assessment by a duly constituted board, followed by document verification and other joining formalities. Anyone using this job record on a public-facing site should present it as a date-bound, document-heavy, walk-in medical recruitment rather than a casual hospital opening so that candidates are not misled.
