The ECHS Polyclinics operate as the first point of contact for entitled beneficiaries, offering outpatient treatment, diagnostic services, emergency care, medicine dispensing, referral services to empaneled hospitals, and health monitoring services. The scheme covers all categories of ex-servicemen including army, navy, air force, and coast guard personnel who have retired after completing their service tenure. ECHS Agartala Recruitment 2026 includes positions such as Officer In-Charge (OIC), Medical Officers, Dental Officers, Pharmaceutical staff, Laboratory Technicians, Nursing Assistants, Data Entry Operators, administrative staff, and support personnel. The recruitment offers attractive remuneration packages ranging from Rs. 21,500 per month for support staff positions to Rs. 95,000 per month for senior medical and dental officers. All positions are on a purely contractual basis with an initial contract period of one year, extendable based on performance evaluation, service requirements, and fund availability.
